Asparagus

Prep: 1 min. Cook: approx. 10 min.

1-2 Bunches of Asparagus
1/2 Cube Butter
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Garlic (optional)

Melt butter on Med to Med-High in a large Skillet.  Break off the ends of the asparagus.  To break off the ends just hold the asparagus, hands a little a part toward the end of the asparagus, and start to bend it.  It will break off on it's own.

Put Asparagus in Hot Skillet with the Butter.  Add Salt and Pepper to Taste, and I like to use a little Garlic as well.  Then just fry in the butter until the asparagus is nice and tender.  You will need to stir it quite frequently to keep it from burning.

My Note:  You can also boil or steam the asparagus, but I have to say I prefer it all buttery and fried up.
